Hawkeye Hunting Club has operated continuously since 1955 in the piney woods of East Texas. In late May 2015 Houstonians Elizabeth and Mark Brueggeman purchased Hawkeye and embarked on a two year restoration project that included remodeling all five hunting lodges, building a new 46 dog kennel, moving and improving the sporting clay course and opening up more fields for hunting for the regular upland bird season of October – March. Just a three hour drive from Houston, Hawkeye is open year round for hunting trips (in season), clay shooting, fishing, family reunions and business meetings. Various sized private lodges accommodate friends, families and business groups. Come spend a weekend at Hawkeye shooting, fishing or sitting around the pool and see what the Hawkeye mystique is all about.

• 3-5: Arrive and check in at Hawkeye office and then settle into your lodge assignment
• 6 pm: Cocktails and dinner at Lakeside Lodge
• 8:30 pm: Evening Five Stand @ $15 per person per round of 25 clays (15 person maximum)

Saturday, September 23, 2017

• 7:30 am: Breakfast at Lakeside Lodge
• All Day: Fishing on either of two property lakes or swimming at pool behind Main Lodge
• 9:30 am: Tower Shoot @ $250* per person (24 person maximum, 12 person minimum; 10 birds per person) OR Sporting Clays Competition at $75 per person (100 clays)
• Noon: Lunch at Lakeside Lodge
• 2:30 pm: Sporting Clay Competition @ $75 per person (100 clays) OR Five Stand @ $15 per person per round of 25 clays (15 person maximum)
• 6 pm: Cocktails and dinner at Lakeside Lodge
• 8:30 pm: Awards for Sporting Clay Competition
